Following up on something about which I have bitched on several occasions here.
The reason I've been unable to stream from it with my Vizio Co-Star for the past few weeks is that they've changed their software and become another one of many services nationwide that no longer are compatible with the Google platform, which is used by Vizio and other equipment.
Amazon.com did the same thing.
I suspected this was the case when CTV quit working for me at around the same time that Amazon.com instituted its new policy. Finally got around to talking with the Vizio support people today (They were great, as always).
So I can stop swearing at the TV and just watch tonight's game on my PC.
I also have a Chromecast, and might try shooting that to the living room TV, but the quality really sucks. Probably simpler just to watch it on the computer. This time next week I'll have a new laptop with HDMI output, and that should take care of it.
First-world problem.
