This lawn mower is less than a year old and I didn't take the battery out over the winter (although the guy at AutoZone said that wasn't really necessary anyway) and I've had to charge my battery every time I've used it this year. AutoZone did it the first time and said the battery was perfectly fine, no dead cells, so I never bothered to get a new one. But when it didn't start the second time, I went and bought a battery charger and it started right up after I charged it. This is the third time I've mowed my lawn this year and the battery is dead again. I feel like it should hold a charge longer than that (due to a lot of rain, it's been about 3 weeks since I last mowed) if it truly is a good battery with no dead cells. Never had this much trouble with a battery once it had been recharged. I don't know what the problem is.
