Kansas State fans have not recovered from the market reality of being banished to the Liberty Bowl while ISU was selected to play ND in Orlando a few years ago. Add in ISU winning three of the last four between the schools while also kicking their butts on the recruiting trail and you have some angry, bitter taters. Their venting about all things Cyclone on social media tells the story of their despair. I've got some 60 something KSU golf buddies that aren't this way, but the younger fans that only know the Snyder years and forward are really struggling with ISU passing them by (my nephew in-law is a prime example). Like my son remarked a few years ago as we were somewhere west of Topeka on I-70 heading to Manhattan, "Look at this! If Im a recruit, I would be saying stop and turn this car back around."
