On 3rd & 11 vs AZ, Shanahan calls for BP to throw to McCafferty and it became TD. Manning would have, predictably, run up the middle to prepare for the punt! Brick’s successes at SF are significantly positively impacted by Shanahan’s confidence in BP, his play calling and him giving BP the keys to the car.
