The reason College Football's big day is today rather than tomorrow when it should be tomorrow is that the Rose Bowl refused to play on Friday.
So we have the only two games left that mattered played today, when many have to work, do year-end inventory, or change traditional celebration plans, while the traditional College Football day of January 1 is stuck with 5 or 6 meaningless games. All because the Rose Bowl, Big10 and PAC12 refused to change that game. Just a joke, total joke.
