does anyone on the board.... but me.... remember listening to play by play announcer Dale Williams when Abe Stuber was our coach? We keep talking about how bad things were in the "old days of the 80's, 90's etc. and I can tell you.... with the exception of EB's three 8 win seasons in the 70's.... we have never really been relevant.....in the eyes of the national media.....even going back to the 40's and 50's. Let's hope CMC rights the ship and hangs around long enough to make us relevant. I really think he likes Ames, ISU and the atmosphere. I just hope he likes it well enough to stay awhile. My fear is that tOSU will come calling if he proves successful at ISU and once again the buckeyes will be our demise for the next several decades.
