Just announced on social media - Butler County (Kan.) wide receiver Darren Wilson has committed to Iowa State. I've already spoken to him on the phone and will have a complete story up shortly. Wilson said that while he could have no doubt played right away at West Virginia, he said Iowa State had the better situation overall with the more established quarterback in Brock Purdy and potential to start down the road. Nice late pickup for the Cyclones, to go along with Arkansas grad transfer La'Michael Pettway.
