I listened for the hour JP was on the show. Fales did a good job the first half hour. Then he lost focus like the 8th grader he is and played some silly games for 15+ minutes. When they got back from break he was able to focus somewhat and asked some more good questions.
It’s worth checking their podcast, just fast forward over the silly games.
My impression is that JP is all bought in to Iowa State and so is Matt Campbell and Steve Prohm. I was surprised at what he said about 5-19jean.
I was an early critic. But I believe JP has grown into the job and is the best person and family we could ever hope to have at Iowa State. Same with Campbell and Prohm.
I hope nobody twisted JP words around, I just thought he was being honest but yet very realistic and loyal.
