Off-season speculation Season is here. No Basketball for a couple of days. I thought I would give CloneForever's thoughts on the offense by comparing where we thought we were a year ago to where we think we are today.

Strengths (Actual or perceived)
2021 - QB, RB, 2 TE, 1 WR
2022 - 2 WR, HB/TE

Marked for improvement (experience)
2021 - Offensive line
2022 - Offensive line

Unknowns
2021 - HB/TE, WR rotation
2022 - QB, RB, TE, WR Rotation

Thorn in fan's side
2021 - OC
2022 - OC

Okay, the last is tongue in cheek - sort of. We were pretty conservative last year, but with the strengths we had, it was not a dumb strategy. I would argue this year, we have different strength and need to adjust. Without, on paper, an AA running back, we need to find ways to loosen the linebackers. Using X and Noel will be vital to that and the QB will need to be more of a run option but still be a deep passer. He does not have to be Purdy accurate but needs to be north of 63%.

The real question, to me, is will our coaches be flexible enough to change? And can they fix the Oline?
