The game was lost because of poor game management decisions by the coaching staff. In spite of the fumbles, I don't know how that point can be disputed. The fumbles don't happen, and the game is not in question if better coaching decisions are made at different points in the game. You don't kick to one of the best returners in college football, and you have to take a knee with 1:23 left in the game when the opponent only has 1 TO.
