Didn't see it discussed much but I was disappointed in his game against Cincy. In 30 minutes he was 0-4 with only 3 rebounds, no blocks and no fouls. But I'm not sure it was entirely on him. IMO we seem to be giving up a ton of wide open 3's. With a defensive presence like him in the middle why aren't we pressuring guards out front and funneling them into McKay? I will say there were a few times where he would not leave his man or was late to rotate and he allowed an uncontested layup so those are on him. CSP said prior to the Cincy game that he challenged him to be better defensively. He seemed to digress instead. McKay's an emotional guy am I'm concerned he didn't embrace the challenge. The fact that he didn't even have a foul seems to indicate he was not aggressive. Hopefully he'll get back on track.
