My wife is a former elementary (k-3) special education teacher (28 years experience). Thru her teaching career, she always had the misfortune (imo) of spending too much of her personal money on supplies and activities for her students. She was always buying reading books to keep in her classroom for the kids to look at or read when their minds wavered. Over time, She stocked up on dozens of copies of each of Dr. Seuss's books, including the ones that were recently pulled from publication. When she resigned from her job in 2013, those hundreds of children's books came home to be stored in storage crates in one of my machine sheds. A quick search of e-bay last night showed those "controversial" books listed for $150 each or more..... Looks like once again, The fruit's of my wife's former profession (and also her tendency to never throw anything away) is going to make a farm land payment for me. 😁 yeah, I know I am stirring the pot with this post , but hey, a guy's gotta make hay when the sun shines, and some members of today's idiot society just handed this baler operator a month's worth of sunshine. 😁
