Campbell and his assistants wouldn't have had 9 and 10 win seasons at Toledo if the Toledo players were committing an endless stream of dumb penalties like we saw tonight and last week against UNI.
So what's going on? Anyone care to objectively explain without injecting emotion? We expected to see some mental errors the first game or two as the players adjust to a new playbook, but I don't think any of us expected this much disfunction.
IIRC, tonight we had 3 ineligible receiver down field penalties and 2 penalties for not enough players on the line (???).
Someone please make me and others feel better!
