I sometimes like to look at recipes online. Well, this is the first time I've ever looked up a recipe and there was a link provided where I could buy all the ingredients online through Instacart. I don't know if that's because I recently started using instacart and because of my browsing history, the link was provided or not. I just thought the link was amazing and very convenient way to shop.

By the way, I would not recommend Instacart. It's just way too expensive. My grocery shopping needs are simple and I rarely spend over $60 unless I'm planning some elaborate meal. But every time I used Instacart, the bill was way over $100 and I often didn't get the things I wanted or the sizes or brands I wanted. A lot of times, they pick a cheaper brand or size, but I don't see the price reduction reflected in the bill. Also, one time I ordered tomatoes for sandwiches and they sent me two that were smaller than tennis balls. In other words, useless for the purpose they were intended. But I could see using it again to get the ingredients for a recipe, simply for the convenience. It's so expensive, cause Instacart has to get a cut and the driver gets a tip of about 20 percent.

I shop online now through a Walmart neighborhood market. They will deliver the groceries to your door, but I go to the store to pick them up. Just park in the designated spot and dial the number on the sign and they bring your groceries to you. There's no extra charge for this, so it's a lot less expensive, however, I do tip the person bringing out the groceries, but not 20 percent, which I think is ridiculous for what they do. $5 is more than enough IMO.
