On offense ISU cannot run the ball. The OL gets very little if any push and looks more to be shadow blocking. I think the last OL that really pushed a DL back was Steve Loney's line in 2000. It has been 15 years of patty-cake blocking in the run game.
On defense I watched the entire line of scrimmage get pushed back 4-5 yards on damn near every first down running play, and quite a few other plays. 5 guys on the line or 6 guys on the line for ISU and it didn't matter, they were all driven backward 4-5 yards. That is how an OL is supposed to run block, drive the guy across the line from you backward. ISU never does that and it has to be on purpose because of the style of blocking they are being coached.
And please don't say Iowa's OL and DL are gthe be
Any team that wants to run on ISU will be able to do so at will
