Was reading the Cyclone Report commitment article for Zach Twedt from January, in which it contains this quote from Twedt:
“I love how Coach Campbell has changed the culture and improved it. Now they’re known as one of the best teams in the Big 12. It was a no-brainer for me.”
Just reflecting on how blessed we are as a football program with those back to back 8-5 seasons under our belt and a third place Big 12 finish last year. Our success the past 2 seasons has to be making a difference in the quality of recruit we’re now pursuing, correct...???
Obviously I’m not poo-pooing Campbell’s earlier recruits that have been great players for us (Jaquan Bailey, Eni, Montgomery, Jones, etc), but recruiting over previous classes is just part of the reality of big time college football recruiting.
