Just thinking about how spoiled we've been in the recent past.

13-14 Season
- Finished 3rd in the conf
- Conf Tourney Champs
- Final AP rank of 9
- Sweet 16 loss to UCONN
- Niang gets hurts in NCAA tournament or who knows?

14-15 Season
- Finished 2nd in the conf
- Conf Tourney Champs
- Final AP rank of 9
- NCAA Tournament loss to UAB

15-16 Season
- Finished 5th in the conf
- Final AP rank of 22
- Sweet 16 loss to Virginia

16-17 Season
- Finished 2 in conf
- Conf Tourney champs
- Final AP Rank of 16
- Lost to Purdue in round of 32

Had the following players:

Ejim - Pro Europe
McKay - Pro Japan
Kane - Pro Europe
Dejean Jones - NBA RIP
Niang - NBA
Morris - NBA
Long - NBA
Nader - NBA
Thomas - Pro Europe
Hogue - Pro Europe
Burton - Pro Korea

I guess my point I'm trying to make is few schools have a run like we have with the talent we had. We're not Duke, KU, Kentucy, etc...that gets all 4 and 5 stars every year with several McDonald's All Americans. For a school like ISU, a down year was bound to happen but there is hope. We graduated 7 seniors last year in Morris, Long, Thomas, Burton, Bowie, Holden, and Nezlek. There is young talent on this team in Young, Lard, and Wiggs. Babb I think has huge potential if healthy, Lewis and Long I still believe will have their day and a big part of the next few years. The talent sitting out and coming in as freshman is well discussed. This season is difficult, but better times are ahead. The Big XII is so tough this year and will likely continue to be tough but I can't help but think (hope) some teams will drop off.

Let's get to these last 2 home games and cheer our asses off for our Cyclones and let's get to KC and be the loudest and most loyal fan base there.
