I believe the new coach will have a pretty good situation to come into. Here's why:
1. Return many key players on offense and defense
2. Easier schedule that this season (a little anyway)
3. Small recruiting class needed for this year..not so many holes to fill
4. Large recruiting class after next year
5. Returning quarterback...this is huge
6. IF we make a bowl game in year one. that will open the door for a large recruiting class.
7. New facilities in place
8. A jump on competition in getting a new coach
I personally am optimistic about Cyclone football, and am confident JP and Leath will make a great choice for the program.
