Fourth Quarter:

Two plays after the Horned Frogs swapped ends of the field, Trevone Boykin rushed four yards for a touchdown to give his team a 38-21 lead with 14:36 to play. The touchdown capped off a nine-play drive that spanned 85 yards and spanned 3:39.

TCU tacked on another touchdown near the midway point of the fourth quarter when Trevone Boykin found Josh Doctson for a 42-yard scoring pass. It capped off a six-play, 74-yard drive that spanned just 2:35 of clock.

I-State’s offense remained non-existent for the entire fourth quarter, as the unit could not manage a score since posting three first-quarter touchdowns. After running up 262 total yards of offense in the opening 15 minutes, Mark Mangino’s group managed just 199 the rest of the way.

Advantage: TCU.
