Probably the Cyclone in me, but had some questions about the legitimacy of our team/program headed into this season. They weren't doubts, but as our team motto is this year, I was anxious to see if we could 'Prove It.' We lost a star RB to the NFL and our go-to WR to the NFL. We then start the season with a near loss to UNI, a loss to Iowa, a win over ULM, then follow that up with a loss at Baylor. The legitimacy at that time, in my mind, seemed in doubt.
Since then, we have curb-stomped three perennial Big 12-caliber 'peers' in TCU, WVU, and TTU; two of which on the road. A freshman RB has emerged, WR targets have emerged, and we've found an identify. This program is for real, and I'm damn proud to be a Cyclone fan. Let's have a heck of a celebration next week for homecoming, and go out and get a win.
