It's called the 2020 Fair Special Edition and it will span over three weeks in August.
4H officials said it's important to recognize the kids' hard work, some of them have been working all year putting their projects together.
"A lot of these kids are really excited they get this opportunity," said Mike Anderson, the Iowa State Fair's 4H Livestock superintendent. "I know quite a few have been kind of bored throughout the spring and summer with a lot of the activities being canceled."
The 4H and FFA shows will start Thursday, Aug. 6 and stretch over the following three weekends.
