MHVER is making some interesting rumors about a potential BIG 12 / PAC /ACC Merger. Making a league that would consist of 3 conferences (not divisions, conferences). Basically reforming the PAC, the Big 12, and the ACC under the umbrella of this new league. It would include OSU and WSU from the Pac, and bring all the assets of the PAC. Possibly 2-4 teams from the ACC would be lost to the Big 10. The plan is to keep the 3 spots that are guarantied for the conference champs. The teams that joined the Big 12 would go back to the PAC conference, and the Big 12 and ACC conferences would see some shifts as well to create 3 more geographical conferences. IN addition, TKO and a private equity firm are interested in participating. Some wild stuff, but actually makes a lot of sense.
