Chris Beard, the TTU coach, who I think is a really solid coach had this to say about ISU and it's defensive pressure:
“I have a lot of confidence in our players,” Beard said “I think we can fix that quickly. Then give Iowa State credit. Their half court defense is good. I’ve said it publicly. I got to see Iowa State play last year in the NCAA tournament. I think the biggest difference between this team and last year’s team, besides obvious personnel, is this is a better defensive team. That’s a mark of a good coach.”
