Allow me to dream....
IF the football gods were especially kind to us this fall, and we were to start 5-0, what happens to our win chances in the remaining 7 games? Yes, this is a BIG if, but those first 5 games aren't exactly against teams like Baylor, TCU, Oklahoma, either.
What would a 5-0 start tell us about this team? Cygarin? I suppose it would depend on how we won those first 5 games - ie did dumb luck win 2 or 3 of them, or did we look dominating or competent in all of them by simply taking care of business? A 5-0 start would certainly create a hell of an atmosphere in JTS for the 6th game: TCU at ISU. We would likely be just inside the Top-25 polls in this scenario, maybe 23rd or 24th in the country.
In the unlikely event we were to start 5-0, I'd predict 3 more Big 12 wins: Some combination of Texas, WVU, K-State, Okie State...maybe we sneak up on one of the biggies?
