We have talked about it here, but it's all been speculation. Walker gives us more length, Jackson's defense might not be up to snuff, etc etc.
Is a reporter allowed to ask TJ about playing time for players? I would LOVE to know what is actually going on. I feel like basically all of us around here felt that Jackson was playing very solid in his back up point guard slot to Hunter. He was averaging 4.3 ppg while shooting 39% from 3 and 100% from the line (only 2-2 but they were clutch) while providing some timely scoring and all around solid play. His 25 made 3s were 4th on the team until he got benched.
So now he has gone FIVE STRAIGHT GAMES and has not played at all - and with what we saw tonight, the staff didn't see fit to try him for one second in a game where we scored 36 points??
Am I crazy to wonder what EXACTLY is going on?
I'd like to see an example of 1 other player in the nation that played in the first 25 games of a team's season averaging double digit minutes per game, and then was benched entirely - never to play a second again - without an injury - in games 26 through 30.
It just doesn't make sense. Especially after tonight. I'd love to know what's going on.
