was that we actually looked like an up tempo offense. It was quite noticable from our first seies on. The play calls were made in a very timely manner and we were back at the line of scrimmage much faster than in recent history. We certainly know from personal experience that when you get a defense backpeddling, up tempo can just flat out be like a steamroller, especially when the run game is moving the chains. Makes me believe that plays may have been either prescipted and/or previously prepared to get us in a great rhythm. Needless to say, it was a pleasant surprise to see a new coordinator, who hasn't called a game in several years, get this needed change done in his 1st!!
I thought that one of the keys to the offense last week..
