Found a new, hungry, trucker that is willing to load when I want them to. Loaded 8 loads of corn yesterday. Still had 2 loads of contracted beans to go that have to be in to Bunge at Council Bluffs by the 22nd. Knew with the snow coming it was going to be nip and tuck getting it there on time. I jokingly suggested last night at 6pm we could still load the beans. We did. Started loading first load at 7pm in the blizzard. Loaded by 7:30. He went home and brought back his second empty truck by 8:45. Loaded by 9:30. I was running the sweep auger in the bin so didn't even pay attention to the score until then. Turned off my pickup radio, hoping for a win. Got home, took a shower and the wife informed me we lost.
Deleted the recording of it......Selfishly, I am glad i didn't watch, it turns out I would rather sweep a bean bin in a blizzard, than watch us lose another home game. ..........NEXT GAME!
