Van Meter is undefeated this season and has yet to give up a single point through six games. That's pretty impressive no matter the competition.
Senior defensive end Dylan Boles has picked up preferred walk-on invitations from Texas, Houston and Minnesota. He also has an Ivy League offer from Brown. As an aside, one of his points of contact at UH is former ISU DE Roosevelt Maggitt. Dylan said he's not sure where things stand with I-State. He indicated they were supposed to attend Van Meter's game with Manson NW Webster but he doesn't think they made it.
Sean Boles is a 2018 OL/DL prospect to watch for the Bulldogs as well.
You Ogdenites surely remember Eric Trudo. He's the head coach at Van Meter. And his wife Shonna (Tryon) was a pretty fair athlete back in the day!
