We have a very potent starting 5. They are great on offense and okay on defense. But we have almost no bench. And when those bench players come in we aren't the same team offensively, especially if Niang is sitting out. We need to have a different offensive plan when we rotate in Burton and Cooke. We need to slow the game down and use a lot of the clock, working for a good shot inside. We should almost never shoot a three early in the possession. Shooting quick threes when Burton and Cooke were in against Baylor helped contribute to two quick 3 point baskets when we were up by 12 in the second half. In a little more than a minute the lead was gone. The bad defense was a result of bad decisions on the offensive side. I think we need a better plan.
