I have always wanted a gas stove (I'm a collector of old cast iron cookware) which is part of the decision, but also my current electric is on its last legs. Unfortunately there isn't a gas line ran in my house to where the stove is located. If I look at the layout of my house, to my untrained eye, I think one could be ran but not really sure. And I sure as heck wouldn't want to tackle this myself.
Anyone have someone in the Des Moines area that they would recommend to come out and take a look, and if feasible, take on the job to run the line for me? Also thinking about running a line to the garage for a heater so would like to accomplish both at once, but my stove is the priority right now given the sad state of our current stove.
