Stumbled across this video. If you want a reminisce to 1986, assuming you are are a metal head, this is a great video. If you are not a metal head, it is a pretty good video to give a taste of the mid 80s. Tailgating before a Judas Priest/Dokken concert. Not a cellphone in site. People just having a good time. I noticed how most everyone is thin. We are definitely a fatter society, even amongst late teens and early 20s now.
This is at the Cap Centre in Landover Maryland. I was there for a Pink Floyd concert circa 87 or 88. So I'm not in this video, but I could be.
The interviews and seeing people start a couple minutes in. The chick at 5:53 who wants to jump Rob Halford's bones may want to do that. But as we have no learned, Rob would prefer being jumped by one of the dudes.
Anyway, I just thought this was a fun look back from a guy with a glorified camcorder recording for a public access program. And if not, you can always look at all the cars in the parking lot.
