We were in Indy yesterday. My wife and youngest son attended the Royal Rumble, and my middle son and I went to the Pacers game. We had just arrived and were walking through the main concourse when we saw a guy head-to-toe in Iowa State gear. He smiled at us, yelled “Iowa State” and high-fived us given we were in our Iowa State gear as well. He asked how the game turned out, and we discussed it for a moment.
My son and I later realized it was Hali’s dad! That was special to witness the family’s continued love for Iowa State. Tyrese is such a great ambassador for Iowa State, the Pacers, and the game of basketball.
