We were driving back from Florida Sunday morning. We stopped in the small town of Freeport to eat a quick breakfast at Hardees. I was wearing a Cyclones cap and a guy in line asked if I was from Iowa. We started talking and then another guy in line gets into the conversation. I hear this guy say his name is Burnham. I asked him if he knew Shane.
He says that's my brother! We talked for a little bit, but this other guy was also in the conversation as he had played for Wally at one time. What a small world. I didn't get Shane's brother's first name, but he is coming to the UNI game. Said he wanted to go to the Iowa game because he loved the atmosphere of the game, but wouldn't be able to make it this year.
He said Wally loves coaching at ISU.
