is getting used to 2-3 win seasons because 2 wins is the likely upside to this year, and I'll be surprised if 2017 sees more than 3. Sad ISU is looking at 4 straight seasons at 3 wins or less and 6 of the last 10 seasons at 3 wins or less.
I sure hope CMC is the absolute best snake oil salesman because he will start to lose the better recruits on the board right now. Selling playing time will get 2* and the lower end of the 3* guys to commit, but the better 3* and 4* recruits want to win and will gladly go to a winning program and wait their turn for a couple years. And we have a lifetime of results to prove that when you have the worst talent on the field you lose far more than you win.
If CMC is the smart and talented coach everyone thinks he is, I will not be surprised if he pulls a Chizik and takes any other job available and bails on ISU as soon as he can.
