We've heard for several years that getting kids from Texas, Florida, OK, Georgia, California, etc to just visit Ames is one of the biggest hurdles, but once we actually get them on campus to see our improved facilities, gorgeous campus, and personable coaching staff, these kids are often surprised at the experience and often commit to ISU.
Now we get to add the new SEZ to the mix. I know kids are impressed with the weight room, etc, but no one can convince me these kids won't be impressed with the new JTS. At least at a minimum, JTS won't be a black mark on their visit. The new SEZ absolutley gives JTS a big time feel. We can now compete facilities-wise.
I was STUNNED by what I saw when I walked in to JTS last Saturday. I didn't expect the SEZ to be so imposing. It's an intimidating, in your face structure. I effing love it.
