Had a meeting this morning to finalize the details on our broadcast venue for Iowa State's five road game Saturdays this fall. And the location is: Jethro's BBQ n' LakeHouse in Ankeny!
The show will air on KWMT 540 AM out of Fort Dodge and can be heard throughout the Midwest on that frequency. Yes, there is live streaming (click the link) so you can listen anywhere in the country or even around the world.
Additional affiliates may still come on board. We will go on the air four hours before kickoff with a two-hour show, to be followed by the Cyclone Radio Network pre-game show.
For home Saturdays, we'll be on tent row broadcasting live, also starting four hours before kickoff. So for the first four Saturdays of the season, it will be:
Sept 3 - vs UNI, Live from tent row, 3:00 PM Air Time
Sept 10 - at Iowa, Live from Jethro's, 2:30 PM Air Time
Sept 17 - at TCU, Live from Jethro's, 7:00 AM Air Time
Sept 24 - vs San Jose State, Live from tent row, 7:00 AM Air Time
Joining me on the show each week with be R.W. Smith, passionate Iowa Stater and long-time DSM radio personality. And another ISU voice, BJ Schaben, will be with us on some game days.
