After the game last night, I was watching Cyclones TV. They had an old show with four prior ISU sports information directors that were reminiscing about things that happened during their time at Iowa State.
One of the topics was Johnny Orr and the story that made me LOL was when Johnny was on the golf outing/dinner circuit during the summer. He was typically the last coach to go.
All the coaches had a joke to make their talk more fun and entertaining. When they got to the last outing of the year, it was in Marshalltown. Johnny asked if he could go first and got approval to do that. Anyway, Johnny proceeded to get up and tell every other coach’s joke.
