Iowa State Athletics will surround the 2018 Cyclone Gridiron Club Spring Game (Saturday, April 14 in Jack Trice Stadium) with a number of fan engagement activities. Kickoff for the game is at 1 p.m. and admission is free.

Iowa State head football coach Matt Campbell and the ISU Letterwinners Club will welcome back four former Cyclone gridiron legends to be a part of the weekend activities. Scheduled to make their return to Ames are former and current NFL players Kelechi Osemele, Ahtyba Rubin, Chris Washington and Ellis Hobbs.

Osemele, a 2011 All-American for the Cyclones, made his second-straight Pro Bowl in 2017 as a member of the Oakland Raiders.

Rubin, who competed at Iowa State from 2006-07, has 107 career starts in his 10-year NFL career. He is currently a member of the Atlanta Falcons.

Washington, who was inducted into Iowa State’s Athletics Hall of Fame in 2009, is ISU’s all-time leading tackler with 457 (1980-83). He went on to play six seasons in the NFL.

Hobbs was a lockdown corner for the Cyclones from 2001-04, earning First-Team All-Big 12 honors in 2004. He started 56 of 79 career games in the NFL.

In addition to catching an early glimpse of the 2018 football team, the new football posters and schedule cards will be available for fans to pick up at designated tables on the east concourse inside the stadium. The Iowa State ticket office will be open from Noon-1 p.m.

Fans can enter Jack Trice Stadium through gates 1 and 3 beginning at Noon. Seating is limited to the east side only. Parking is available on a first come, first serve basis in all A, B, C and D lots (North lots).
