Save this post for next year! Remember, he shared this with me before any games were played and he doesn't even do a bracket or pool! I used some of this but should have listened to all. I have Virginia winning it all over Michigan State. I just didn't think Texas Tech had the offense to get to MPLS.

Of the last 14 champs, 12 have been in the top four of margin of victory and they come from a power conference. That means you should look for Gonzaga, Virginia, Duke, Texas Tech and Michigan St. to go deep.

Defensive efficiency is also a major indicator for success. So, roll with teams such as Texas Tech (again), Duke (again), MSU (again), Virginia (again).

And finally... offensive efficiency is always a tell-tale sign of tourney success. In that case, these teams are the best: Gonzaga, Virginia, Tennessee, MSU, Purdue, Duke. A team that ticks many boxes, but not great in this category. Texas Tech.

My predicted Final Four based on this info: Michigan State, Texas Tech, Virginia, North Carolina with Virginia cutting down the nets over Texas Tech.
