Was listening to XM Radio College channel yesterday and someone asked Lou Holtz (who sounded clear-headed and stress free) what traits of a football team help overcome the odds of an upset in week one. Holtz quoted Ara Pharsegian(sp?) who had a very high win percentage in first games against good competition and the answer was fresh legs and keeping the O & D schemes simple in the first game.
I don't know how you keep an offense simple with the WRs corps ISU now has available, but it should be very successful this fall and it should open up the run.
