1. The SEZ Club seats were 75% empty and the stadium only 75% full when the second half started. The SEZ club seats looked to be about 30% empty the entire second half. So it is appropriate to say that the ISU fan base in the stadium did not show up for the second half as well as the team. And the ISU crowd, along with the offense, seemed lifeless. How on earth could that be the case?
2. I do not know if Hawkeye WR #89 (Vanderberg?) will be an all american someday, but Cotton clearly could not cover him. If Iowa could figure out how to cover Wesley for the second half, we should have figured out how to put the breaks on a possession receiver.
Bonus 3. QB Richardson has to be hurt. He cannot run anymore and something must be wrong.
Question: This is not the NFL. ISU's WRs were bumped and hindered greatly in the second half, yet not one pass interference. If that is allowed by the NCAA, why doesn't ISU do that?
