Football Staff?

I know this was mentioned before, with really no answer, but I'm hoping someone knows...
Terry Allen has been seen on GameDay on the sideline next to CMC and at football camps this summer. Is he just a good luck charm of sorts, or does he have some kind of role/mentorship that we don't know of? Whatever it is, I'm glad he is there!
