Mitchell Moore gets the promotion from coaching Iowa 2A football at Greene County to Des Moines Roosevelt, a 4A program. He’ll certainly have his work cut out for him there, but it’s a great opportunity to show his ability. If he can get the Rough Riders to five or six wins, maybe he’ll be a candidate for a suburban school when there’s an opening.
From an ISU perspective, hopefully this won’t affect Tyler Miller’s commitment over the long haul. Moore was a nice connection to have for the ISU staff up there.
