What will Iowa State have to pay assistants to win? Will Leath/JP allow a new head coach to dangle a 7-figure or near 7-figure carrot out there to attract the best assistants possible? This link shows Iowa State at 2.1M for assistant salaries. I think that number is going to have to go way up. Hell, Louisville is at 3+ million.

You can hire and pay General Patton to oversee the war, but if Sgt. Shultz is running the troops on the ground the cause is lost.

So what is the total HC/Ass't budget number we need to spend? 6M? 7, 8?
