ISU and Campbell are not out of the woods yet. We are surrounded by strong football schools and modest recruitable talent. We need a win over Iowa in the worst way and another meltdown over at Nebraska similar to their start last year could be very helpful.
Unfortunately, we have to worry about Nebraska now too. 6 of 9 Nubby committed recruits had offers from both schools and chose Red. 3 of our 20 committs had offers from both and chose ISU ( Wilson, Pauls, Miller). I will say that this is the year for Frost to prove it , or he could struggle to meet expectations.
Same thing with Iowa. Three had Iowa offers too and chose ISU (Pauls, Wilson, McDonald) although there are 6 other of ours that had interest but no Iowa offer (Zenzen, Dekkers,Petersen, Miller,Bouman, Peterson).
On the other hand, of iowa's 22 committs, Rivals shows 7 had ISU offers and chose the wrong school.
