As Bill outlines in the article, Iowa State is indicating it will use a similar process to 2015 in identifying QB prospects it wants to offer in 2016. That is, wait until they can come to a camp in June for direct evaluation, which really amounts to an audition. Now, the Cyclones have offered a four-star kid from Frostproof, Florida, (Xavier Gaines) but he is probably unattainable. So in terms of realistic prospects, they will possibly/probably have to throw for the ISU coaches in a camp setting before being offered.
