FOOTBALL RECRUITING: Heralded HS DE Recruit Visiting This Weekend

I've just confirmed over the phone that Albuquerque (NM) Valley defensive end Teton Saltes will take his first official visit of the recruiting process this weekend to Iowa State. You may remember that Saltes was offered by the Cyclones in the spring. The 6-foot-6, 235-pound Saltes already has offers from the likes of California, Oregon, Texas Tech, Washington and Washington State. Getting Saltes on campus is a major coup for the staff. I also get a sense that lead recruiter Stan Eggen will keep ISU in this one throughout the process, as he already has a really good relationship with Teton and his family.
