According to a post on his Twitter page, Kansas City (Mo.) Fort Osage rising senior quarterback Skylar Thompson has received an offer from Iowa State. I have thought for a while that it was 1A and 1B as far as Thompson and Steve Frank (Oswego, Ill.) went in the pecking order for getting an offer from the Cyclones. Will be interesting to see if Iowa State offers Frank, or lets things play out a little bit with Thompson to get a feel for who his favorites are. I'll be putting together something on Thompson's offer shortly.
