I listened to the whole broadcast, and many times throughout the game he called Temple "Rutgers".
One time he apologized and said, "It's those red uniforms that remind me of Rutgers...."
And then, with about 30 seconds left in regulation during a Temple/Rutgers timeout and with Iowa in the lead, he said:
"You know Fran McCaffrey is over there in that huddle coming up with some kind of plan. There's not a better bench coach in the country when it comes to Xs and Os than Fran McCaffrey."
28 seconds later Clemmons fouls the Temple player heaving up the desperation shot giving him the 3 free throws to tie the game.
