My son is 16 and a lot of his hawkeye friends are really talking a lot of crap to him. He is hearing a lot of ignorant stuff from these kids. For example he claims some kids were arguing Iowa was the better bb last year because they won when it counted most. My son is extremely knowledgeable about college sports and he gets frustrated at the ignorance of his hawkeye friends. I just told him not to get caught up and worry about what they say. Hawk fans will be like this for the rest of his life, no matter how much you argue facts with them they are not going to change. I advised him to just not engage with the idiots unless he really enjoys it. Otherwise, he will remain frustrated.
